Gill Connell is a primary trained teacher [T.T.C., A.T.C.L.] and very experienced in early childhood and primary education in New Zealand and has worked as a primary school and music teacher for a number of years. She was New Zealand manager for GymbaROO for seven years where she worked extensively with children and parents from 0-5 years. This program not only worked with children from a developmental perspective, but it also helped educate parents on the importance of movement in relation to a child's cognitive development. She is presently working as a consultant in her own educational business where she regularly runs professional development courses and in-service workshops for both early childhood and primary teachers. She is also invited on a regular basis to lecture at Colleges of Education Resource centers, running professional development courses throughout the country.
Gill is a mother of three gorgeous children and also a firm believer in family values and involvement.
Robyn Crowe, a qualified primary teacher [Dip T., B. Ed.] has worked extensively in Australian schools teaching physical education, art and craft. She has taught gymnastics and Kindergym for many years and now specializes in movement, dance and music education in the preschool area. Robyn is very involved in coach and teacher education, as a presenter at conferences, workshops, in-services, and courses within Victoria and interstate. She has been invited to speak at local and International conferences specializing in movement and is a nationally accredited presenter for Gymnastics Australia. Robyn has run parenting sessions on "How To Teach Through Movement and Play", through various councils and pre-schools and is still actively teaching young pre-school children. Robyn is the co-author of "Begin With Gym", a teaching manual in movement education for 2-5 year old children and "Begin To Sing" [music for movement].
Robyn also works as a freelance illustrator. She is the mother of three wonderful children and thoroughly enjoys this role and being involved in their activities and family life.
Kate Hanratty‘s love of music lead to her singing in bands, solo, and in duet performances over many years. Her talent and variety of experiences have lead her to co-write the songs with Robyn for both the children’s movement music resource "Begin To Sing" and now "On The Move" with Robyn and Gill. Her beautiful vocals and creative compositions have enhanced the music greatly.
Kate has one child and during her son’s school years, spent time singing and playing music on a voluntary basis to share the joy of music and singing with children. Kate also works in another creative area as a florist.
